When mass media was bombarded with perpetual hatred towards the Asian community at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we fucked with the negativity of it all and switched the narrative to highlight the true pride of being Asian.

Mommy Vows

Breast cancer is hereditary. This illustration book imagines a list of vows that a young girl would make to her future daughter, as someone whose own mother had undergone chemotherapy for breast cancer and remained absent from a large part of her teenage years.

That young girl is me.
